Thin WOOL socks are knitted from very fine merino wool, which is exceptionally warm and comfortable. The stress zones in the heel and toe area are reinforced with polyamide, and elastane is added to the calf and foot area for shape stability. The hems of the socks are comfortable double, piqué, the toe is closed with a flat chain stitch. The socks are designed for everyday wear and year-round use.

Merino wool

WOOL socks are knitted from Merino wool, which is a natural material obtained mainly from Australian and New Zealand Merino sheep. Merino wool has thermoregulatory properties, is breathable, can absorb and transport sweat, has antibacterial effects with an anti-odor effect. Another property of merino wool is that it can protect against UV radiation, is flexible and strong.

Polyamide

Polyamide fibers are characterized by high strength and abrasion resistance. Thanks to these properties, we add it to the toe and heel of most of our products. These are the most stressed parts of the socks. Polyamide also has the ability to dry quickly and thus contributes to the feeling of dryness.

Elastane

Elastane is a commonly used textile fiber with high elasticity, which we add to the basic material in the calf and foot parts of the socks. Elastane will guarantee shape stability after many washes and wears.

Product care

Merino socks require appropriate care to maintain their exceptional properties for as long as possible. If you follow very simple and basic rules, our product will serve you for a long time and fully functionally.

machine wash on a gentle cycle for wool or wash by hand
follow the recommended water temperature when washing up to 30°C
use only detergents, preferably liquid, intended for wool
do not add any other additives (bleach, fabric softener, etc.)
